Years ago, we inherited an unmarked cedar box packed with curled black-and-white portraits from the 1920s. Moisture had fused corners and silvering obscured faces, but patient bench restoration brought back every expression.
That single discovery revealed how many households hold irreplaceable heirlooms without a safe, accessible local conservator. We built this studio so neighbors never have to risk mailing family heirlooms away.
